About me.

Meet Bobby Stormer, a suburban native born and raised in northern NJ.  Since his youth, he has had a natural inclination towards creativity, beginning with drawing and eventually transitioning to photography 14+ years ago. Over the years, Bobby has honed his photography skills in a variety of genres, ranging from street photography to weddings, and everything in between.  However, about five years ago, he discovered a genre of photography that completely transformed his world - Wildlife Photography….

Capturing Life, Creating Art.

The essence of wildlife photography lies in mastering the skill of being in the right place, at the right time.

  • Foxes.

My favorite animal: The Red Fox holds a special place in my heart as the cornerstone of my wildlife photography journey. These remarkable creatures have been more than just subjects for my lens; they’ve opened my eyes to the profound beauty of the natural world and imparted invaluable lessons about wildlife. Each moment spent observing and photographing foxes is a treasured experience. Their elusive nature and captivating behavior have not only inspired my work but have also profoundly changed my perspective on life. The red fox embodies the essence of wildlife’s elegance and complexity, and their presence has deeply influenced my approach to photography.

  • Black Bears.

The most misunderstood animal that I've had the privilege of photographing thus far, these creatures have recently captured my heart through dedicated exploration. Despite their imposing presence, black bears are often highly misinterpretated, they are truly gentle giants navigating our landscapes with grace. Through my journey with bears, I've learned the importance of respecting these remarkable animals. My goal is to share my insights and educate others about black bears, shedding light on their true nature and fostering a deeper appreciation for these misunderstood inhabitants of our wild.

  • Owls.

Owls are often shrouded in mystery and sometimes viewed with a sense of foreboding, but in reality, they are among the most captivating creatures in the natural world. Their silent flight and exceptional skills as "nocturnal" hunters highlight their extraordinary adaptations and fascinating behaviors. Each owl species has its own unique charm, and I’ve been fortunate to capture their essence through my lens. Whether at the break of dawn or as twilight descends, I find myself endlessly mesmerized by their grace and beauty. The thrill of photographing these enigmatic birds never wanes, even as they remain some of the most elusive animals to observe in the wild. Their presence adds a touch of magic to the landscape, revealing the subtle wonders of the night and deepening our connection to the nature.

  • Wildlife.

People often overlook the incredible beauty and diversity of wildlife that surrounds us every day. From mammals and snakes to insects, amphibians, and more, our natural world is teeming with fascinating creatures, whether in your backyard, at the beach, or deep in the forest. With a bit of patience, you can begin to appreciate the rich tapestry of life that unfolds around you. Imagine witnessing raccoons at dawn, sea turtles gliding through Caribbean waters, or coyotes gracefully moving through the fields. Our world is a breathtaking mosaic of life, and it’s our responsibility to cherish and protect these remarkable creatures. By embracing the wonder of our wildlife, we not only enrich our own lives but also ensure that these natural treasures continue to thrive.

  • Birds.

Birds are truly everywhere—gracing our cities, gliding across vast oceans, and inhabiting remote jungles. As the ultimate travelers of the sky, they embark on constant migrations, covering remarkable distances. Living along a major flyway, I’m fortunate to have endless opportunities to photograph a diverse array of bird species. Each day presents a new and unique spectacle: warblers feeding gracefully near streams, Peregrine Falcons soaring among rugged cliffs, and an ever-changing kaleidoscope of vibrant colors in the sky. The speed, agility, and elegance of these avian marvels never cease to captivate. And of course, no exploration of birds would be complete without my personal favorite—hummingbirds!

  • Conservation.

My ultimate goal in this journey is to use my photography to advocate for the protection and preservation of wildlife worldwide. Whether it's rescuing local foxes and birds, documenting endangered species, or revealing the harsh realities of urban wildlife, my mission is to present an honest portrayal of our world. It’s crucial to understand the true state of nature, even when the stories are difficult to hear. Our world is not always a fairy tale; it can be harsh and unforgiving, and humans play a pivotal role in shaping its future. By showcasing both the beauty and the challenges of wildlife, I hope to inspire action and foster a deeper commitment to ensuring a thriving natural world for future generations.
